We welcome the responses from the Cabinet Secretary and representatives of the Health Boards, and details on existing provision and governance.

To ensure the most effective use of the resources available, there needs to be increased co-ordination on several levels:

• How Health Boards can work with the Welsh Neuromuscular Network to address capacity and succession planning
• Ensuring outreach clinics are adequately co-ordinated and supported by the Health Boards
• How Neuromuscular Network co-ordination can be best supported, which follows good practice in Neuromuscular Networks such as the South West Neuromuscular Operational Delivery Network and Scottish Muscle Network

For the next Petitions Committee meeting, would there be opportunity for us to provide an oral update, perhaps alongside a representative or two from the Welsh Neuromuscular Network?
